Pleasing And Purified

“Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ” (Galatians 1:10 NIV).
“On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts” (1 Thess. 2:4 NIV).
Remember, you were created by and for Me. Pleasing Me, is contrary to the spirit of the world (Galatians 1:10, 1 Thess. 2:4). I never pleased all men. I only obeyed the Father’s voice. I knew the Father’s voice because of the time I spent with Him and was not dissuaded by the cries of men or the temptations of the enemy.
My Father’s heart was and is contrary to the hearts of unbelieving men. I come to release you from all this today. I come to release you from the words of men, the fear of men, the words of the enemy, the specter of past failure and the need for self-attainment. I come today to give you a fire and a passion which burns away all dross. Let Me purify you, cleanse your heart and set you free at the same time, for you are the one I love (Psalms 51:7).
