The Inspiration

God has been dealing with me to have Purpose in all I do-to pursue His Kingdom and His agenda as never before-to try and tests spirits by using discernment as never before and not human nature.

When Human Nature Is Our Foe

Sometimes our human nature can block the reality of the Spirit of God. Sometimes all we can see is the natural and what we know of a person or have experienced with or from said person. But, past the human nature, past the outer shell is the reality and Purpose of the Holy Spirit. Within a person lies a Kingdom Assignment and Destiny and even if it lays dormant, it is there.

Know this; we have to get to where we look at everyone as carriers of the gifts God and begin to partake of the gift of God within all regardless of what we see on the outside. Everyone has their preferences or types of personalities they like to hang out with but when it comes to the anointing…to the gifting in a person we should not judge. Instead we must partake. In doing so we will encourage the gifts that lay dormant in a person to awaken, we will put a demand on the anointing and begin to cause a River that has been damned up by life and circumstances to begin to once again flow.

Determined Nature Of The Almighty

This morning God dealt with me on the way to work about DNA. Years ago I received some prophetic revelation on DNA and taught it in Sunday school. He began revisiting what was inside of me in relation to having His DNA or the Determined Nature of the Almighty.

When we receive Him, we receive His DNA. The process we then enter into is like when the Israelites left Egypt. They were technically no longer in Egypt, but Egypt was still in them. They had taken on the personality and the nature of their surroundings. Their mindsets had become ones of those who had been in slavery…ones driven by taskmasters. They had known bondage and slavery, for so long. Some were born into it and some had endured it for generations in their bloodline.

Therefore, when they were released from the natural surroundings of slavery and being driven by taskmasters they still were not free. And why not? Their lifestyle of subjection to unjust authority had impacted their total being. It was who they were internally, spiritually, and mentally. All they said and did come forth from a heart that had only known slavery. They were motivated to act and react as one yoked to a yoke of slavery.

However, God was trying to transform them from the inside out…hence the why and wherefore of the journey. They could not possess the Promised Land as slaves…as ones’ beset with a slave like mentality. The fear nature of man saw themselves as grasshoppers where the DNA of God acknowledged victory with a “God will prevail attitude.”

Victors, Not Victims - From Egypt To The Promised Land

Victors were and are to be possessors not victims. Faith saw the grapes of the promise. And yes, fear saw the giants. Each step and every encounter was meant to break the generations of slavery and remove the yoke of bondage off everything inhibiting the DNA of God in their lives…to remove everything that impacted their bloodline.

Egypt flowed through their veins and affected who they were and their natures did not reflect the Kingdom of God. Nor did their words declare the Kingdom of God, for they had not truly experienced the freedom and inward transformation of the Kingdom of God. The DNA…the Determined Nature of the Almighty was not evident in their lives.

When we get saved we are translated from the Kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. The Israelites journey from Egypt to the Promised Land is an excellent analogy of the process of transference and transformation. When they were released from Pharaoh they were taken out of Egypt to a place of Promise. But in both cases, translation from darkness to light and from Egypt to the Promise land, it is just the beginning.

We as well will not possess the Promised Land until we have endured the journey and allowed God to have His way…not until we allow His alignment to come into our lives and we come to the place of teaming with the Holy Spirit to drive out every Item-every enemy that stands in our way…every enemy who is like and is a squatter on our land. In standing up…in letting go…we can possess the land of Promise…the lands of Destiny and Purpose will flourish in our lives as we fulfill His Kingdom Agenda.

Not By Might, Not By Power

But we cannot do this on our own. It will take His DNA to accomplish this laden with the truth: Not by Might-Not by Power-But by His Spirit. There is no other way. If we try and choose another way will, like the children of Israel, we will travel around the mountain more than we should…travel until we build ruts or what come call graves with both ends open.

Yes, even our very natures and personalities need to be transformed by His SPIRIT. Why? So that it is never us they see but is Him and only Him they see. When people look at us do they see the Kingdom of God and His Glory, or do they see our untransformed nature with all its flaws and weaknesses?

As for me, I know I have some submission to His presence and the transforming of His Kingdom within me to undergo…as I walk in the Determined Nature of the Almighty. And I am not alone. Submission, transformation and transfiguration born of with a humble heart is the journey we all have to embrace.

Even Jesus had to visit the Mountain of Transfiguration and His whole being radiated with the Light…with the Light of the Glory of God. That is why there is often “shakings” and “earthquakes” in our lives. Even as the ground breaks in and natural earthquake so does the ground of we are breaks. Why? So we can let out who He is. What do we let out…the light and His DNA that has already been deposited within but is not shining as brightly in our lives as it could? This happens because our nature and what we refuse to let go of is blocking its brilliance. All things that can be shaken will be shaken. We are no exception. Notice the word ALL.

In the breaking…shaking process transformation is being released and as it is being released it is working hand and hand with restoration. God is a God of restoration. Always mindful to restore what the locust have eaten.

However, God will not restore what our flaws, and natures will allow us to only lose again. He is interested in a complete work. Be it one day or forty years, He is willing to do what it takes. After all, one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. God is patient and is not constrained by time or human perception.

The Challenge And The Counterfeit

Beloved, God is speaking to us…wooing us…challenging us to come to the Mountain of Transfiguration-to come and let His light be released from our being-to come and let our out shell be broken and allow His nature to come forth-breaking off all the counterfeit mindsets we have embraced…that we have become.

I thought I understood the meaning of counterfeit, but He is taking me a little deeper in my understanding. The Israelites were slaves for so long, that their actions and reactions were one of slavery, victimization and abuse. The yoke of slavery went deeper than their natural experiences and transformed who they were. In a sense it manipulated their true DNA.

The Spirit of the Lord began to speak to me this morning that anything that is not driven out-dealt with or anything we treat with passivity becomes who we are. It penetrates our hearts, transforms our natures, and our very personality until we take on the DNA of a spirit or the trauma we have endured.

This taking on of the pain, the rejection, the trauma or anything of the enemy is a counterfeit to Gods’ DNA, and it wars’ against HIS coming forth in our lives and reflecting His Kingdom. God is coming back for a spotless, blameless bride without spot or wrinkle. How is this to be accomplished if we are not challenged in our own natures to be transformed to reflect Him I dare say it is impossible for us in our present condition to be that spotless, blameless Bride. For our human nature is an open door that the enemy uses quite frequently against us.

A Personal Reflection

A lot of my ministry struggles have been in areas of rejection. A prophet not experiencing rejection is unheard of; even Jesus was not received in His own home town. But because I had experienced rejection all my life everything I did was experienced through a nature of rejection. I was an unplanned pregnancy and my parents did not want me. This is what I experienced…what I knew and what I became.

Their treatment towards me growing up reflected their lack of acceptance. I was sexually, physically and emotionally abused by a family member…verbally destroyed by the words of those who were supposed to have loved me. Truly life and death are in the power of the tongue.

My parents both deserted me at a young age. Emotionally they were never there for me. I don’t remember hugs or “I love you” being spoken while growing up. That is why I purpose everyday to tell my children as much as possible; I LOVE YOU.

Since I have become an adult and born again (saved). God has been restoring my relationship with my parents. I am in the process of learning to forgive and love without remembering the past with a heart of rejection and pain. We have experienced a lot of healing and walls of separation between us are falling down. Yes, there is still some work to be done, but we have chosen and will continue to choose to allow God to heal and restore.

My parents and their flaws affected me as well as my brother. However, I have come to understand it is out of their own needs…their own hurt that they inflicted the wounds on me that have left an impression on my heart and life. In all this the Lord turns what the enemy meant for evil and makes it good. What an amazing God.

Hurt people, well, they hurt people, but the suffering has to end somewhere. Cycles have to be broken and words of healing spoken. My parents have also known the DNA of traumas and darkness assigned to destroy their lives. I, like them, am experiencing the words of Christ on the Cross, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do!” Many times or should I say most times most people do not even realize what they are doing…to know in fullness would be heartbreaking to say the least.

When you and I come to the realization of what we are truly doing our hearts are broken. The comfort is this; a bruised and bended reed He does not break and He is mindful that we are but dust. Imagine being a king and priest made of dust…what an awesome God.

The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy but God comes with abundant life and He is exchanging all the enemy meant to take from them with His DNA-His Kingdom Purposes. Families are in danger of continuing devastating cycles and plaguing yet another generation. We have to quit licking our wounds and remembering the heartache. We must receive healing, stand as a family unit and see the plans of God triumph over the plans of the enemy for our families.

To Comfort As You Are Comforted

I remember when I first got saved…when I first gave my heart to Him. God placed me in the arms of a woman who was the Co-Pastor. Everyone who knows her knows she is a touchy feely, huggy…huggy kind of person. When I first started being around her and experiencing this kind of love from her it was very awkward for me. At first it made me feel very uncomfortable. Eventually though it began to break down walls. Over the years I would begin to cry in those arms that I once felt awkward in. One thing for sure, she knew the value of love…not just love in word but love demonstrated. Many have been changed by the power of God’s Love, even His Love that flows through the embrace of one who is willing to HUG.

Today, a lot of times when I sense rejection and hurt in another, as I am working prayer lines, I will feel compelled to hug them…to embrace them. And usually they will just break, cry and release the pain within. Instead of living in rejection as I have in the past, I now comfort as I have been comforted.

Rejection An Insidious Foe

SO many adults are little children looking for a hug… looking for acceptance and they more often than not reflect a rejected child in all that they do. Rejection has taken over their very DNA-their personality. They are offensive or offended easily. They are easily hurt and are untrusting. They build walls and live a life of low self esteem. And all because of the hurt and abandonment they have experienced…all the anger and all the pain. Rejection is an insidious foe. However, love…true agape love overcomes the world.

Sometimes pride will enter in and they become an island all to their selves…becoming anti social, nonparticipating, standoffish, etc. The fruit of rejection after a prolonged time of being allowed to grow in their lives becomes who they are. Because of this we don’t see the real person-we don’t see GOD

in the world are looking for GOD. That is why the churches are not full and people are falling away. They don’t see God, they see MAN and their weaknesses-their flaws. It is going to take GOD to draw men to His Kingdom. Man has tried, and man has failed. Now we need to do it God’s way.

Rejection had transformed my nature and my character in such a way that it hindered who God says I am. Like me you need to totally drive out all that resists Gods’ DNA, and allow this transformation in your nature. Why? So that the enemy can no longer use our personalities or natures against us as a stumbling block.

Think About It

Think about it…has there ever been a time you started gaining a momentum with God…thinking this is it…thinking we are going somewhere now only to hear the big BOOM…to get hit with the stop, turn around and go to jail.

Maybe you entered into a situation based on a character weakness or flaw and not wisdom and discernment. Maybe you tried to follow God and people opposed you. As a result you entered into a time of feeling rejected; dejected as familiar pain surfaced and like Elijah hiding from Jezebel you hid in a cave surrounded by darkness and the lies of the enemy. The enemy used a weakness at a time of stepping out…you saw the water…you heard His voice… and yet… The important thing is to not let the flaw, the circumstance, ignorance, or pride in you or others become a stumbling block. Instead, let them become the breaking out and be transfigured in the light of His glory and grace.

Since the Holy Spirit ministered to me, I can see a lot of our setbacks are because of our personal flaws that the enemy has gotten very cunning at using against us.

Shut The Door

We need Gods DNA. We need His Determined Nature that reflects His Kingdom, for in His light there is no darkness and no occasion of stumbling. There is no shadow of turning.

For in His DNA is His determination. And it is His determination that will cause us to continue climbing higher and higher, persisting in what he has called us to do, empowering us to resist all that comes to trip us up. Beloved, let’s shut the door to the enemy. Let’s not be his play toy any longer. Join me and no longer allow him to play on flaws and inward pains. Let us journey to the Mountain of Transfiguration and allow the Glory of His Kingdom to come upon us and from within us until we outshine any Egypt mindset lingering in us.

Beloved, we are indeed on a journey to the Promised Land and His light will light our path. Therefore do not grow weary in doing good for you will reap in due season…you will be transfigured to walk in the Determined Nature of the Almighty…will be, do an see what He already knows you to be.
