Journals of the Heart

Heavenly Father,

How often you think of us, and

how vast are your thoughts of us.

Nothing escapes your notice.

You Spirit is always with us and speaks

through us in ways we cannot

fathom…

How often do we miss the full intent

of your heart because we are so

ready to doubt ourselves, fearing the

worst.

In every situation we can “see” the sun

hidden behind the cloud and walk in

the promises of God or we fall prey

to the tactics of the enemy and “fear.”

And the sun it is altogether, no longer there.

However, the latter is never true.

“Fear” is not from God and hope does not

disappoint. The enemy means

things for harm but God means

things for Good.

We overlook the incredible fact that

You can use us “unaware.”

You can see in whole, what we see in

part.

You always, always speak

truth in love.

Your intent is always

redemptive.

How good You are!

May we live in the light of the Son

May we live in the glory of your presence…always

knowing there is nothing hidden

that will not be revealed.

May we know the intent of Your heart is always to

encourage.

We are the sheep of your

pasture and You are the Shepherd

of the flock. We know Your voice…

and we are “safe when we listen.”
