A New Heart of Flesh

Word of the Day

I choose for you to know Me, to know Me intimately. I am restoring all things (Joel 2:24-26). I am giving you My nurturing heart as a gift and it will heal all the places in your heart not nurtured by those who should have done so. Even though at times these actions or words allowed the enemy to come in through the ignorance or disobedience of others, you have chosen to forgive and be forgiven.

The hard ground of your heart left behind by words and actions perpetrated by men who damaged trust and love has been healed in many ways. All the little bits left unhealed are now in the process of a great restoration. You see, I look on the heart and in the midst of all these things I saw and knew the portion of your heart not given over to hardness. You did not harden your heart toward Me and this has caused you to endure with strength and perseverance to this day. You did not lose heart and you will reap accordingly (Galatians 6:9)

Beloved I have brought you carefully through these times of your life to this very present day. I watered the hard ground of your heart with mercy and grace, enabling the weeds, the tares to be removed from your land. Now I am plowing up all the hard ground. I am preparing it to receive new seed, new rain (Ezekiel 36:25-27).

Hard ground is no protection for the heart and causes denial which creates a way of deceptive escape. Many things not of Me can fall through cracks and crevices indigenous to hard ground.

Therefore, I am softening things little by little. Yes I am raining, pulling weeds, plowing, fertilizing, and removing all rocks so I can plant the new seed of destiny in the land I call Mine, your heart. Be open to the fullness of all I am doing. Surely is coming to pass…Read Complete Love Letter…

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness; and from all your idols will I cleanse you. A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them (Ezekiel 36:25-27)

Prayer

The enemy always wants me to believe there are things unable to be restored. This is a lie. You restore all things in my life today and every day after. I have forgiven and I forgive in order to walk in perfect peace. I love the Word and I am not easily offended. My heart once damaged by the words and actions of men is healed by Your great love. I give all hidden places, all stony, hard places to You today. Have Your way in my heart completely and without measure. Mercy and grace are my portion. I receive it and I give it to all. The rain of the Lord is penetrating the depths of every hard place, every crack, and every crevice. I have a soft heart full of the Lord. I open myself to You in all fullness. Come! I am ready. Amen

Reflect and Journal

1. Are there any remnants of unforgiveness hanging out in your heart? Ask the Lord to show you any hidden places and let them go.

2. What areas of your life do you find hard to endure, to have or give mercy in, or to overcome and be positive about?

3. Take them one by one to the Lord and surrender them, Receive grace and mercy. Take time for Him to instruct you out of His Word. Receive His rain.

One Response to “A New Heart of Flesh”

  1. Forgiving is by the grace of God that gives us willingness not to hurt the person who did us harm. What an awesome grace it is if we are able to do so! I believe not by our will alone but by our abiding spirit. May our merciful God give us a forgiving heart and more room to love…Amen
