Greetings SisBrenda...As I read this devotional, I think of Mephibosheth - son of Jonathan. He was the grandson of King Saul and should've sat on the throne by blood; however, through no fault of his own, he suffered naturally and was crippled in both feet and lived a life of shame and rejection in Lodebar. That is until King David called him out of the cave that he was in, restored the property that was his and gave him a seat at the king's table. Like Mephibosheth, we suffer many wounds and make many mistakes in this lifetime and often feel and act less than who we are, but the King of Glory has called us out of that shame and obscurity, has dusted us off and has said that we are royalty! We are His Righteousness in Christ; not by acts, but by grace! Take your seat at the King's table and partake of all that Jesus has said is yours!
