Being the visual person that I am, whenever I read Eph 2:6 (we ARE seated in heavenly places), I think of a gathering of all the saved souls from all time, all the Heavenly Host seated with God the Father and Jesus Christ in a massive auditorium watching a ginormous movie screen. In the spirit, we are all watching each of our victories as they happen in the natural! There is a tremendous, uprorious and emotionally joy-filled eruption of all present when we first give our lives to Jesus, choose obedience over disobedience, put others before ourselves, praise and worship God and lead an unsaved person to the throne of grace. Angels are high-fiving each other, there are shouts of joy and absolutely no sorrow! I can just see Jesus, with tears of joy in His eyes, leaning over to say, "Beloved, it truly was a joyous day when you gave your life to Me! I am so overjoyed that you are here with me!" The only thing that can equal hearing those words of our Lord is to be engulfed in the warm embrace of our Savior; the King of Everything! Selah! I truly love the book of Ephesians! This is the greatness of our God. O how wonderful He is! We should ask Him to hold our hand and walk us through everything, because we are in need of His help always. A lot of people say that things are awesome, so when we say that our God is awesome, it really does not mean anything, since everything is awesome, at least that is what we say. The true meaning of awe is fear mixed with wonder. Awesome truly does suit our God, so He is the only person we should use awesome for.
