Word of the Day

Beloved, I have come to you today to open some more layers of truth and dismantle any overshadowing from the enemy through lies, wrong self-perception, pride or fear. I have come to give you life abundant this moment. Before you receive keep this in mind, Rome wasn’t built in a day. They didn’t quit building because it couldn’t be done in a day. Don’t think about how you have done this before and haven’t seen the change or fulfillment you long for. Why not try a whole new way looking at things? Why not just assume (to do so would be the 100% correct thing to do) a good thing will take place…assume help has come and progress is made whether you see it immediately or not?

Take a moment…take some time and take your focus off the distractions around you and say, “I receive help from on high. I receive the truth and the uncovering of lies which prevent me from walking in the goodness of the Lord. Take a moment and say, “I am well-pleasing to the Lord who loves me and listens to me.”

This very moment the overshadowing from the enemy in the areas of lies, wrong self-perception, pride and fear are being removed and replaced by the overshadowing presence of the Lord. I trust the Lord more than I did a moment ago for the Presence of the Lord has changed me.”

Be encouraged My beloved ones. I am right now honoring your confession and obedience to My request. My canopy…My overshadowing of light and love is increasing over you. Prayer

Lord, I so desire for you to peel away the layers of lies and deceptions I have believed which hide or overshadow the truth about my life and the beauty You have already deposited in me. May all wrong self-perception be removed from the eyes of my heart. I do not want to see myself in negative ways, nor do I want to see myself through rose colored glasses when it comes to the attitudes and motives of my heart. However, I do want to see myself as You do, born again in Christ of incorruptible seed. My past failed attempts to overcome have no bearing on the future unless I embrace them instead of embracing the Word of Truth.

I am changing and growing daily in knowledge and understanding of the Lord. My heart is being transformed into the likeness of the Lord in all I do and say. Progress is being made moment by moment. I dwell in the overshadowing Presence of the Lord at all times. He is my covering. The enemy of my soul is a liar. My soul is being sanctified daily as I submit myself to the Lord. I am in Him and He is in me always. Amen.

Reflection and Journal

1. Be patient with yourself, knowing Rome wasn’t built in a day; celebrate the little changes in your life. Write down changes you have already seen and changes you are hoping to see in your life. Writing down where you have already changed builds faith.
2. Take a moment to say, “I receive help from on high!” Close your eyes. Meditate on Him coming to you in order to bring what you need. Every good and perfect gift comes from Him. He does not give stones in place of bread. Now see Him bringing you the answer. What is it…a picture…a Scripture…a promise…a song remembered….do not limit Him…listen and wait.
3. Do you see yourself as well pleasing to the Lord? He lives in you…you are born again and are a new creature in Christ. If He were to be displeased with you, He would have to be displeased with Himself. Selah (meditate) and write a note of love and thanks to the Father for seeing you always in Christ.
