Turning Evil For Good

Word of the Day

As you rise up with dignity in the calling I have given you, don’t be dismayed at the minor setbacks of life. Each is used by Me and all things work together for good for those who love Me and are called according to My purpose. Turning things for the good is what I do. I use them to teach you as I clear your path of all obstacles and distractions. I use them to draw your focus and attention to Me.

In coming to Me, in being focused on Me, you are positioned to receive the necessary blueprints to overcome and build a strong foundation that last forever. In the process, your confidence will grow as you discover you can do all things in Me. We make a good team, you and I.

You have grown, you know. If some things happening in your life right now had happened even months ago, your dismay would have been great. Circumstances and situations have taught you well under the guidance and protection of My hand. I am so proud of you.

One last thing, My child, be careful what you speak regarding your circumstances. Sow good words of faith—sow good seeds blessing in response and you will reap an abundant harvest of blessing in return (Galatians 6:7-9) Remember, I see all My children with a heart of love, working in their lives at the same time I work in yours. My grace is sufficient and available for all…Read Complete Love Letter…

“We are assured and know that [ God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose” (Romans 8:28 Amplified).

“Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers righteousness on you” (Hosea 10:12 NIV)

Prayer

Lord, I rise up in the calling You have placed on my life and I will not be dismayed by the little foxes, the minor setbacks or the unkind words of men. You are mighty to save and have set me in a large place where I can move with freedom and grace. Everything in my life is turned for good and the enemy’s plans are brought to naught as I surrender to You—as I proclaim Your name. I focus my thoughts and actions on You to receive blueprints necessary to the fulfillment of Your plans for me.

I have grown in You and my heart rejoices for You are faithful when I am faithless. What a mighty God I serve. You are worthy and full of glory. I guard my heart and mouth that I may speak what is lovely and upright at all times. Teach me to judge my circumstances according to Your Word and not my feelings. In doing this my mouth will speak what Your Word says and not my opinions. Work a heart of love in me and I will love others at all times. I choose to love, and Your grace is sufficient in enabling me to do so.

Reflect and Journal

  1. What setbacks have you allowed to discourage you in pressing forward in certain areas of your life?
  2. What have you been speaking in regards to these setbacks? Have you been agreeing with the enemy with negative thoughts and words? Negative thoughts lead to negative words.
  3. Take time to break agreement with wrong thoughts and words. Release new words of hope into the situations.
  4. Reflect with a heart of thanksgiving on how His grace has been sufficient even when things are tough.

  1. Moments of shame and harassment in the presence of many people is not easy to bear. What an awkward situation to handle! But You were there, holding my hand and whispering words of humility and understanding. You too were mocked, scolded and put to shame but You forgave with compassion.

Knowing my old self, it would have been an attitude of getting back, of depending my self. But, to my amazement, it was an attitude of humble apology and courage to accept the truth.
Not an angry word was spoken… You hold my tongue, you anointed it. You turned things into good . Indeed, all things work for good for those who believe. It was one shining moment of a refined soul, humble and meek…Are you pleased my sweet Jesus?

  2. 1. I get dismayed and feel humbled when these “setbacks” happen. It’s usually my tongue that betrays me.

    2. The realization of these outspoken negative words do cause me to reconsider what I have said. I feel so unworthy, though I know God loves me unconditionally. I feel ashamed. I should know better.

    3. I ask for forgiveness and for either a complete silence on my part, or learn to slow down in speaking in an inopportune way. In other words, think before I speak.

4 I marvel at how God forgives through his Son, Jesus, and that I do have the opportunity to better my reactions when speaking. I love, worship and praise my God. I want to do better. I want what He wants for me. I want to be worthy of Him. He is my All….for always.

  3. Corrie,

Once again you have blessed me with your comments and vulnerability to share your heart. I too had a time with my tongue yesterday and He met me where I was…I humbled myself and repented and I found Him waiting arms wide open with “AMAZING GRACE.”

Isn’t the goodness of God amazing. His kindness leads us to repentance. Yes, thank You Father for sending Jesus…We love Him so…

    Blessings
    Brenda
