This page explains what happens to information when you visit Journals of the Heart at www.journalsoftheheart.com.
How the site works
Journals of the Heart is a static website. Our pages are files sent to your browser when you visit.
Request logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs to run and protect the service. These logs can include your IP address, the page you requested, the time of the request and your browser type.
Visit counts
We use privacy-preserving web analytics that do not use cookies. We use them to count visits and to see which pages are read.
Your 30-day plan progress
When you check off days in a 30-day plan, that record is saved in your own browser's storage on your device. We do not receive it. The prompt picker keeps the filters you last chose in the same storage, so they are ready next time. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
No accounts or email list
There are no accounts, no forms and no email list on this site. We do not collect email addresses through the site.
If you email us
If you write to us by email, we use your message and your email address only to read and reply to it.
